Collaborating with IeDEA
Document Download
IeDEA welcomes and facilitates regional and multi-regional projects and analyses, proposed both by collaborative groups within IeDEA and external investigators. These joint efforts will enhance the scientific capacity of the consortium and will serve to expand our understanding of the disease and its treatment.

Multi-regional projects may involve some or all IeDEA regions, and within individual regions some or all sites. Collaborations with IeDEA at the regional or multi-regional level may rely on existing data resources or in some instances may develop into more intensive projects. IeDEA is eager to work with investigators who are interested in applying for additional grant funding to enhance and or expand the existing data collection.
• Concept sheets describing collaborative projects can be prepared by individuals and groups affiliated with one of the seven IeDEA regional centres or any clinical site, or by individuals and groups not affiliated with IeDEA.
• A concept sheet must be proposed to the Executive Committee (EC) of IeDEA with an EC member who will serve as IeDEA correspondent. Persons wishing to submit a concept sheet need to discuss the concept with one of the regional PIs (link to PI contact info here). Potential collaborators are also welcome to discuss their project with any of the NIH project staff for advice and guidance in the preliminary stages. (link to NIH contacts here)
